Christmas in New York City
It’s the most wonderful time of the year to take a trip to New York City with 8 hours to explore on your own. Go shopping, see a play, or take a tour of the city all while enjoying the beautiful Christmas scenery. The bus will be dropping riders off at Macy’s near Times Square. Register early as spaces are LIMITED!

Register today and join our Pickleball Clinics Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings with instructors Maura Majeski and Catherine Whalen. These clinic’s consist of four, hour long lessons held weekly. Registration is required!

Community Yard Sale
The Talbot County Parks & Recreation Community Yard Sale returns this Spring. This is the perfect opportunity to get some spring cleaning done and sell your items at the this community-wide sale. Clean out your garages, attics, basements, and closets! One person’s trash is another’s treasure!
- Fee: $10 per parking space; $5 per table (chairs not provided)

Summer Skate Nights
Come out to the Talbot County Community Center for our special Friday evenings of roller skating. Music and 2-Hours of Roller Skating with your family and friends.

Pick-Up Roller Hockey
Keep your hockey skills fresh this summer and join us for pick-up roller hockey for youth and adults on Monday evenings.

Decoy Tailgate Show
Decoy Tailgate Show 2023
Our Annual Decoy Tailgate Show takes place before the Talbot County Waterfowl Festival in November and features over 150 different vendors from all over the country. Vendors display and have working decoys, carved decoys, art work, sculptures, antiques, and more for sale.
- Fee: $30 per space per day for vendor spot (Reserve all 3 days for only $75!)

Ice Skating Events
Halloween BOOnanza!
Come have a SPOOKtacular time at Talbot County Community Center! This family fun event includes ice skating, trick-or-treating, face painting, photo opportunities, and more! Don’t miss your chance to show off your fun costume! This is an event for all ages! No pre-registration required. Pay at door. Cash only!

Skate with Santa
Santa will be taking a break from his busy schedule at the North Pole to visit the Talbot County Community Center to share holiday memories with the whole family! Kids will have an opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap to reveal their seasonal wishes and receive a special gift! Please bring your own camera to take a memorable photograph with Santa. Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies will be provided. Pre-registration is required as Santa’s helpers need to maintain quantity and quality skates and gifts.

Daddy Daughter Valentine Ice Skate
Make Valentine’s Day extra special by coming to ice skate with your daughter at the 9th Annual Daddy Daughter Valentine Ice Skate at the Talbot County Community Center. Come and enjoy a night full of fun, excitement, and skating complete with refreshments, party music, door prizes, and a complimentary photo shoot. Pre-registration is required.
