Waterway Improvements
The Department of Parks and Recreation (TCDPR) manages each of the public landings with assistance from the Department of Public Works each year. During this process of assessing each landing TCDPR establishes a needs list along with repairs that need to be done at our sites.
This process has yielded a strategic plan to improve the landings to provide better public access throughout Talbot County. Part of this plan includes funding each year to maintain and improve these sites. Support from the Department of Natural Resources Waterway Improvement Program allows these facilities to be updated for all those Marylanders who access the Chesapeake Watershed.
